ATTN: BUSINESS OWNERS
The Village of Bosque Farms Fire Department is now starting a Knox-Box program which will help the Fire Department to protect your property whether it is commercial or residential. There is no charge for this service but the Knox Box purchase is the responsibility of the property owner.
A Knox Box, known officially as the Knox-Box rapid Entry System, is a small, wall mounted safe that holds a buildings keys for fire departments, emergency medical services and sometimes police to retrieve in emergency situations. The Fire Department can hold master keys to all boxes in their response area, so that they can quickly enter a building without having to force entry or find individual keys held in deposit at the station. Knox boxes simplify key control for fire departments. They also cut fire loses for building owners since firefighters can enter buildings without breaking doors or windows.
More information can be found at www.knoxbox.com or the Village of Bosque Farms Fire Department at 869-2358.
